Compatibility and installation

The supplier lists compatibility with many 12V Amcrest outdoor cameras. Confirm the connector's outer and inner diameters, polarity, current requirements, and power-adapter compatibility before use. The title's universal or all-brand wording does not establish compatibility with every CCTV or IP camera.

This cable adds 10 feet to an existing power lead; the supplier's reference to a 20-foot total depends on the length of that original lead. Although the supplier describes connecting multiple extensions, confirm the permitted total cable length and voltage drop for your setup before doing so. Outdoor connector sealing and weather-resistance ratings are not specified.

Package: One 10-foot power extension cable. A power adapter and camera are not listed as included.
