Power requirements and app limitations

The “need power supply” option requires an external charging power source. The supplier lists a separate “No Power Needed” option, but its power requirements should be confirmed before purchase because the supplied instructions also state that charging power is required.

This adapter does not support certain paid or protected-content apps, including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, Hulu, Xfinity, Vudu, and DIRECTV. Do not purchase it for playback from those services.
